When you arrive at Dr. Carter's office, there's no waiting room, crowd, or receptionist. Dr. Carter will greet you personally, and your visit begins right away with a comprehensive medical history and physical exam. If you are enrolling only in the Hormone Replacement program, the conversation and exam will be focused on weight loss and tailored to your individual circumstances and goals.

During this first visit, Dr. Carter will order labs, and sometimes a repeat set of labs will also be required prior to starting hormone replacement. Dr. Carter will discuss a care plan with you. When a hormone replacement medication is appropriate, Dr. Carter will often have it available in office, or if not, will order it for you. You will not be charged for the medication until you receive it.

Hormone replacement therapy will require close follow-up in office at least every few months. Dr. Carter will also be available via phone or text.
