Your consultation will be scheduled at a time that works for you, which usually takes place within a couple of days. Rest assured, you won't be charged until your appointment. When you arrive at Dr. Carter's office, there's no waiting room, crowd, or receptionist. Dr. Carter will greet you personally, and your visit begins right away with a comprehensive medical history and physical exam. If you are enrolling only in the weight loss program, the conversation and exam will be focused on weight loss and tailored to your individual circumstances and goals
During this first visit, Dr. Carter will typically order labs (but not always) and discuss a care plan with you. When a GLP-1 medication is appropriate, which is most of the time, Dr. Carter will order it for you and have it shipped to your door. You will not be charged for the medication until you receive it - typically 2-3 days after your appointment.
Dr. Carter is available for any necessary weight management followup via phone or text. GLP-1 medication is one part of a comprehensive and individualized plan of care. Followup appoinitments in office are available as needed. Dr. Carter may ask you to come back for periodic lab work as necessary.
Weight Loss Program Pricing
Two Models: A comprehensive, all inclusive weight loss program, or an a la carte weight loss program to fit you needs
Comprehensive All inclusive Weight loss program: $300/mo. This includes:

A La Carte Weight loss program:

Initial Consultation: $200

GLP-1 Medications: variable depending on quantity, but typically between $50-$300 monthly

Follow-up appointments: $150. These are as needed and based on patient preference and Dr. Carter's recommendations

The All Inclusive option does require 3 month minimum commitment billed up front.
